Micaela Marie Võsu

Micaela is a long-time student at Studio dotE Dance School and a recipient of the dotE scholarship. This year, she will begin working as a young teacher under the guidance of mentors. Micaela began her dance journey over 8 years ago and has tried out many different styles during that time. She has remained particularly fond of modern and technical styles, such as contemporary and lyrical, but she is also attracted to more experimental forms of movement. Before dancing, Micaela was involved with rhythmic gymnastics, which has given her a strong technical foundation and a commitment to always finish what she starts in the best possible way.

As a dance teacher, Micaela believes it is important that every dancer feels safe, creative, and valued in class. She creates a joyful and supportive atmosphere in her classes, where students have room to move, experiment, and grow. Mica believes that every dancer develops at their own pace and considers it important to support both the development of technical skills and the self-confidence and creativity of young people. Her goal is to create a unified energy and spirit of cooperation in her classes - so that both dancers and teachers feel joy and value in what they create together.
