Dance education
Dance education at Stuudio dotE Dance School is conducted in accordance with the curriculum and statutes.
Dance education is based on the academic year, which means committing from the beginning to the end of the academic year. If places are available, students can also join during the academic year.
Stuudio dotE Dance School is a member of the Estonian Dance Education Association (ETHL) and is registered in the Estonian Education Information System (EHIS) as a private hobby school.

ACADEMIC YEAR
The academic year at Stuudio dotE Dance School runs from
7 September 2026 to 13 June 2027.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
I holiday: 26 October – 1 November 2026
II holiday: 21 December 2026 – 3 January 2027
III holiday: 22 February – 28 February 2027
IV holiday: 12 April – 18 April 2027
TUITION FEES
Tuition fees are payable in advance by the 10th of the current month, based on an invoice.
Invoices are sent by the dance school's accounting department to the email address provided in the dance education registration form.
If more than one child from the same family attends dance classes, a 10% discount applies.
In the event of outstanding payments, the discount will no longer apply.
If studies are discontinued, the tuition fee for the current month must still be paid.
The terms and conditions of tuition fee payments (including absences, adjustments, etc.) are regulated by the STATUTESof Stuudio dotE Dance School, which are available on the dotE website.
COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE
Communication between the school, students and parents takes place via STUUDIUM.

REPORTING ABSENCES
Please always report your child's absence via Stuudium before the class begins. Unreported absences will not be taken into account retrospectively.

ANNUAL CALENDAR
The annual calendar is available on the dotE website and contains information about upcoming events, dance festivals, school holidays, and everything else relevant to dotE dancers and the dotE family.
GROUP DIVISIONS AND DANCE STYLES
The dance school offers a variety of dance styles, descriptions of which can be found by clicking on the respective classes in the timetable.
In the timetable, you will find classes with the following designations:

Colour Groups are regular groups with classes held twice a week. Each class lasts 45–60 minutes. Each Colour Group has its own development goals, which are established at the beginning of the academic year. These development goals provide a clear understanding of what results to expect from the training sessions and what is done in class and why. Colour Groups participate in a competition or dance festival with their group choreography (unless otherwise agreed within the group). All Colour Groups perform at the dotE concert at the end of the academic year. In addition to the Colour Group classes held twice a week, dotE dancers have the opportunity and are encouraged to choose one or more elective classes according to their preferences.

Competition Groups are dotE's selected groups, which dancers can audition for at the beginning of each academic year. During the auditions, dancers are assessed on their dance technique, learning speed, ability to stay focused and attitude. Competition Group classes take place once a week, and each Competition Group also has mandatory and recommended elective classes that dancers attend.

Elective Classes are dance classes that support Colour Groups and Competition Groups and take place once a week. Each class lasts 60–75 minutes.
